MCL - Northeast Division Conference

Northeast Division Conference

Greetings Marines and Associates of the Department of NY,

With all that has been going on, I know our lives have been turned upside down in a myriad of ways.  We've already had a Department meeting rescheduled, the COVID restrictions still have many of us on edge and we are all still trying to find ways to move forward.

That said, we continue with the mission at hand.  By now, many of you have seen that we are getting ready for two National events; the Midwinter Conference and the Northeast Division Conference, both of which have been posted on the Department's web site.

Of course it is with hopes that we get as many Marines and Associates to attend these events, but if it's not possible, I am hoping that we can show our support if your are not able to attend.

To that end, I want to personally invite you to attend the Northeast Division Conference which will be held on April1-2, 2022 at the Crowne Plaza Princeton in Plainsboro, NJ.  Our honored guests will include Colonel Philip Ash, Commanding Officer of the 1st Marine Corps Recruiting District out of Garden City, NY as well as MCL National Commandant Johnny Baker and Executive Director/Chief Operations Officer Bob Borka.  They will be on hand for a presentation and to answer your League related questions.

I hope this gets you excited and maybe even think about attending!  If not, there are other ways to show the Division that you are in support of what we do as a driving force in the League.

For your consideration, I am attaching the Division's Letter of Invitation and Ad Contract Form.

Please consider supporting us by placing the size ad of your Detachment's choosing.  We do better when we support one another.

If I don't see you at either of the two aforementioned events, I look forward to seeing you at the Department of NY Convention!  Always one of my favorite events!

Semper Fi,

Michael John Waluk
NVC Northeast Division
Sr. Vice Commandant, Westchester Detachment
