National Convention - Cancellation Plan
Marines,
The other day the National Commandant
announced the cancellation of the 2020 National Convention in Daytona
Beach, Florida. Like all good Marines, the Marine Corps League had a
contingency plan in place.
The National Convention Cancellation Plan contains Pre-Decisional Requirements,
Execution of Procedures and Administration of Post-Decisional Action. In this last category it covers:
- National Officer's Elections
- National Division Vice Commandant's and Assistant Vice Commandant's Elections
- National Officer's Installation
- National Bylaws and Administrative Procedures
- National Budget and Finance Committee Approval
- National Committees
- National Awards and Citation Committee
- National Marine of the Year
